Alexia Diaz was born in Mexico and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 4, growing up in Houston, where she officially became a Houstonian. After graduating from Stratford High School, Alexia began her career as a photographer at a mall. During that time, she was trained by a colleague who informed her about a bilingual job opening for a third-party verification agent at an energy company. That opportunity marked the beginning of her 11-year career in the energy industry, which led to her current role as an Operations Analyst at EnergyBot.
Knowledgeable in both commercial and residential customer needs, Alexia has experience working directly with customers at a previous electricity company, as well as handling back-end operations. This dual perspective has given her a comprehensive understanding of the energy industry, from customer interactions to behind-the-scenes processes.
Alexia has a tech background with hands-on experience in a previous role, where she was directly involved in testing and improving systems. Proficient in customer service, Alexia excels at helping customers understand industry pricing and market dynamics, enabling them to make informed decisions and save on their electricity bills.
