About Hannah
Meet Hannah Bastawrose, the energizer bunny behind EnergyBot's writing team and the founder of itty bit Better. Her education background includes a Mechanical Engineering degree and a minor in Meteorology from Penn State, Hannah's not just another expert in the field—she's a whirlwind of sustainable change with a flair for making energy and sustainability engaging and accessible for any audience.
After diving head first through the energy sector with roles at major corporations, like Schneider Electric and Trane Technologies, Hannah decided it was time to kick things up a notch.
Enter itty bit Better (IBB), a culmination of her passions dedicated to transforming the building industry one small step at a time through education and process improvement. It's where professionals go to turn their 'good' into 'great,' focusing on energy, sustainability, and creating spaces that don't just look good but feel good too.
At EnergyBot, Hannah turns complex energy gibberish into coffee-table chat material. Making sure everyone from beginners to pros can catch the vibe and join the movement towards a greener planet.
But Hannah's not all talk. She walks the walk, serving on the board of the Association of Energy Engineers SoCal Chapter and holds certifications like Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP) by the U.S. Department of Energy. It's her way of saying, "Yep, I know my stuff, and I'm here to share it with you."
With every word she writes for EnergyBot and every project she powers through with itty bit Better, Hannah Bastawrose is not just leading the charge towards a greener future, she's leading us through an eco-adventure.
