Denver's Building Electrification Retrofit Pilot Program assists commercial and multifamily buildings with understanding whether a heat pump is right for their building. The pilot will help an applicant complete an electrification feasibility report and replace their air conditioner and/or space/water heater equipment with heat pumps. The pilot will fund the cost of the report and the difference in cost to design/prepare for/install an electric system, up to 100% of costs. Incentives are limited to $75,000 for standard buildings and $120,000 for equity priority buildings.
