Muscatine Power and Water (MP&W) offers rebates for purchasing energy efficient appliances, upgrading HVAC systems and recycling old appliances. Rebates are available for a variety of energy efficient measures including, but not limited to, electric refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, clothes washers, dryers, room and central air conditioners, ground source heat pumps, and water heaters.
Rebates are only available to residents within MPW's electric service territory. Rebate forms must be returned to MPW to receive account credit for purchases made the previous year, due by March 31 of the current year. Rebates are subject to funding availability and may be discontinued at any time without notice. It is the responsibility of the applicant to verify that the program is active before making any equipment purchases.
