The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) and Paradigm Partners are offering a solar hot water financing program in order to meet MassCEC's objective of growing the commercial solar hot water industry in Massachusetts. Commercial and non-profit building owners can use the financing program to install solar hot water systems.
A variety of financing options will be available depending on the project, including power purchase agreements or energy service agreements. A third party will finance the construction, maintenance, and operating costs of the system, and the building owner will sign a long-term contract with the third-party owner. In order to be eligible for the program, the customer's utility must pay into the MassCEC Renewable Energy Trust Fund. Interested customers should use the contact below. Projects will be evaluated based on the suitability of the site, the commitment of the building owner, and the project's timeline relative to other proposed projects.
