NSTAR Gas offers incentives for their commercial customers to save energy in existing facilities. Rebates are for high efficiency gas space heating equipment, water heating equipment, infrared heating equipment, and commercial cooking equipment. All equipment must meet energy efficiency standards listed on the program web site. Equipment incentives may vary based upon the rated efficiency of the unit. Incentives are available on a first come, first served basis.
The Custom Program allows commercial customers to save energy with a variety of high efficiency gas technologies. NSTAR Gas will pay up to 50% of the project cost for qualifying projects. Examples of qualifying measures include: dehumidification, direct contact water heaters, combustion controls, waste heat recovery, double-effect absorption, and condensing boilers and furnaces.
