The Michigan Biomass Energy Program has funding available to support workshops or events that increase public awareness about energy or fuel derived from biomass resources. There is a maximum award of $2,500 for each workshop or event. All workshops and events must take place in Michigan before December 31, 2003. The project should be geared toward fleets, farmers, students, flexible fuel vehicle owners, or other relevant groups--but not the general public. Public and non-profit organizations are eligible. Funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Organizations may receive funding for no more than two events or workshops.
