Note: The 2008 proposal submission deadline has expired. Please check back for details on future offerings. The Michigan Energy Office in the Department of Labor and Economic Growth offers an annual grant solicitation for photovoltaic projects, usually early in the calendar year. Two or three projects are funded each year. The grants pay up to 90% of photovoltaic equipment costs up to $50,000. Educational activities are required but not covered by the grant. The grant does not pay labor costs for installation and is available only to public agencies and non-profit organizations. The 2008 program is expected to fund up to three projects and applications were due by April 4, 2008. For further details on the Request for Proposals please contact Roger Doherty at the Michigan Energy Office using the information below (e-mail preferred).
