Independence Power and Light - Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

November 01, 2024

Summary

Independence Power and Light offers rebates to their commercial customers for purchasing and installing energy efficient equipment. Customers can apply for either prescriptive rebates for simple lighting and air conditioning projects; or custom rebates for projects not fitting into prescriptive categories, or both. For custom rebate applications, the simple payback of the proposed project must be between two and ten years to qualify for a rebate. Eligible measures include lighting, controls, sensors, and air conditioning units. Efficient lighting measures must be replacing less efficient fixtures, which are specified on the program application. All equipment must meet stated efficiency standards of the program. See application form on program web site for other rebate and eligibility information. Complete all necessary information on application forms and include all requested equipment information. Contact utility for further program details.
