New Hampshire Electric Co-op offers incentives to its commercial and industrial customers to encourage energy efficiency. The program offers prescriptive and custom rebates designed to cover the lesser of a one year payback, or 35%-50% of the cost of purchasing energy efficient equivalent.

Rebates are available for energy-efficient lighting and controls, energy-efficient motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and approved custom projects. For full details on program terms and conditions, rebates amounts, and equipment requirements, visit the program website listed above.

NHEC also offers smartSTART financing, where eligible projects can be financed through the savings generated by the products themselves. SmartSTART eligible projects include weatherization, lighting and lighting controls, and other verifiable energy saving measures.
