The Cooking in Healthy Electrified Commercial Kitchens (CHECK) Program provides rebates for the purchase of ENERGY STAR certified and combustion-free commercial kitchen equipment. The program is limited to Pennsylvania-based K-12 school districts, higher education institutions, not-for-profit hospitals, restaurants, and nonprofits whose missions are geared toward community services. Note, not all commercial businesses qualify for this incentive; only restaurants.
Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis until funding is exhausted or December 31, 2023, whichever comes first. Applicants must first listen to a recorded webinar available on the program website before applying for the rebate.
