The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is allocating approximately $10 million over a five-year period to fund a competitive grant program for DC fast charging equipment and hydrogen fuel cell vehicle supply equipment. EV Fast chargers must be installed in community charging hubs, transportation corridors, or destination locations. Projects are scored and prioritized based on strategic location, expected usage levels, cost-effectiveness, technical viability, match contributions, and contribution to exiting or planned fueling networks.
