Washington City offers a rebate of $1,000 per kilowatt-DC (kW-DC) to customers who install photovoltaic (PV) systems or wind-energy systems. The rebate is limited to $3,000 for residential systems and $10,000 for commercial systems. The maximum system capacity is 10 kW. All customers that receive a rebate must also participate in the utility's net-metering program. Rebate will be received through a 50% electric account credit and 50% direct payment.
