Efficiency Vermont offers a rebate to almost any project site that upgrades its traffic signals to LED signals. LED traffic signals use 80% to 90% less energy than traditional signals and can last more than 12 times as long. To qualify for the incentive or for additional details, complete the program application found at the website above. Signals owned by the state government or by the City of Burlington are not eligible for this incentive. For those signals not listed on the application, contact Efficiency Vermont directly to discuss a custom incentive. All equipment must be purchased and installed prior to completing an application.
