Washington’s retail electric suppliers must disclose details regarding the fuel mix of their electric generation to the Department of Commerce, as well as to their customers. Electric suppliers must provide such information in a standard format annually to customers. Starting in 2021, each utility must calculate and report the greenhouse gas content of the electricity it provides to retail customers in Washington.
