The Appliance Recycling Program offers free pick up and recycling of old, inefficient, working refrigerators and freezers. Participants will receive a $40 reward per appliance recycled, and must be a customer of a utility that participates in Focus on Energy.
Note: If you have a non-working unit, please contact a current waste and recycling hauler to arrange a pick-up for a fee. Visit the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Waste and Materials Management for a list of appliance recycling contacts by county.
