TXU Energy is know for having exceptional customer service although their rates are typically more expensive than average. If you value a large stable energy provider the trade-off might be worth it to you. If you want the cheapest electricity rate you will likely find better options elsewhere.

One of the most common questions customers ask is about TXU's free night plans. Plans like this are called time-of-use plans. They offer "free" or discounted electricity rates during various parts of the day, typically nights.
