“I really liked how friendly the people were who signed me up, at first I was kind of off put when they showed up at my door I thought they were trying to sign me up for something more expensive but after the phone call i my supply rate was cut by a third. Great company would recommend”

“All jokes aside. They are scammers indeed! They all claim that it’s a fixed rate but it’s really variable. They claim 10.3 cents a kWh but it’s really 16 cents a kWh they lie to everyone’s face. It sounds nice at first but eventually the rates all skyrocket. And they butter you up with this rewards program thing they have. Where how much you use a month is how many points you get. (Example: 2500kwh for the month would be 2500 points)”
“SCAMMERS! They came to my door claiming to be with ComEd and tricked me into signing with their company (claiming that they were making sure I was not being overcharged by ComEd). My leasing agent chased them off the property and I immediately called them back and told them to cancel whatever I'd signed with them. They said they would. Guess who just got a notice from ComEd saying they wanted to confirm I was leaving their buisness. . . Don't believe them. They're not trustworthy.”
“Scam company, stay away. Just met with Alexandra and she claims that the comed bill is wrong, .04981 delivery fee is actually .49810 and theirs would correct this to .075... funny.”

“Total scam. A rep came to my door and misrepresented themselves as being from my Energy company, and not a third partyy retailer. They tried ot get me to sign up under false pretenses of just a rebate without disclosing what company they represented or that they were going to fix my energy rates”
“Don’t fall for it!!! They tell you we want to make sure you are getting your savings put in place by the governor or some bullshyt. It’s a lie to get your ID numbers from your bill to sign you up. My bill went up $200 I called and cancelled this shyt so fast. My bill is back down to what it was. 🖕🏾🖕🏾🖕🏾🖕🏾🖕🏾 this scammer company.”
“Don’t not be fooled they will tell you they’re gonna save you money and then they will sign you up for the highest rate possible and when you change the rate it takes 2-3 billing cycles which it only takes them one to start charging you more. The salesman had me do the verification call on speakerphone with him there which he told me he isn’t supposed to do but he wanted to make sure everything went through the way it should more like the way they want it so they can overcharge you.”

“SCAM ALERT! Came to my house to try and claim that I was overpaying for energy. This salesman said they were Comed's "supplier". I closed the door on him and called ComEd. They said they supply their own energy, and they had never heard of IDT. I really hope the salespeople don't come back to my house. I will call the cops.”

“They break into my apartment complex (verified by office staff) and harass myself and all my neighbors. Then lie and say they’re allowed to be on premises. Also they lie that a middleman makes paying an energy bill easier. Solicitation is illegal, I plan to report next time you visit me.”

“SLAMMING SCAMMERS AND FRAUSTERS. A man came to my house wearing one of those orange pinnies/vests and a lanyard that said Pepco on it. He said he was with PepCo and needed to see my bill to make sure everything was alright and look at the meter. I gave him my most recent bill and he wrote a bunch of stuff down on a notepad. He then said there was an issue, and I wasn't getting the right discount. I started to get suspicious and asked, "Are you really from PepCo?" He said, "Yes, Ma'am, I am with the Power Company," and I asked again, "Which 'power company' are you with?" He then texted me and said there was a contract in the link of the text, and I could just sign it, and I would get my discount. I told him I signed nothing without my spouse also looking at it and that my spouse was not home, so I would just call PepCo when my spouse was home and do it over the phone. The man asked me not to do that and not to mention him. I closed the door on him and called PepCo. PepCo confirmed that the man was NOT one of their employees and that he was probably a "Slammer." I told them I signed NOTHING and to NOT switch my energy supplier. I called back a few days later, and they said they had received no requests to change my supplier, so I thought all was well. The tricky scammers waited a few more days and THEN switched it. I had no idea; they never sent a "welcome" letter or ANYTHING. I just suddenly had "IDT" on my bill. When I called IDT, they said they had my e-signature. I told them it was FRAUD. I signed NOTHING. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. FRAUSTERS. LIARS. THEIVES.”
“Shady salesmen. Came home to 2 idt guys talking to my partner. They would not so much as look at me. I wasn't bringing in groceries and one of the two walked away making phone calls possibly saying he wasn't me to try and change one of our bills.”
